Leveraging distributed ledger technology for the authoritative data store,microservices and a Kafka event driven architecture, the system enables pre-tradematching and reconciliation of deal terms, saving market participants an estimated$1bn / year in post-trade settlement and contract resolution fees.

Transformation of a challenger bank's lending systems to comply with 2016mortgage regulations.Hired, mentored, motivated and led a team of six contract engineers for theproject.Drove the implementation of Agile (Scrum) principles for the project and theorganisation as a whole.

Led a technical project overseeing the migration of existing compliance WindowsForms reporting systems to an intranet-based web solution to support businessgrowth and success.

Defined and executed a high-level IT strategy and roadmap, launching a Multi-Asset Hedge Fund business in partnership with Hermes Investment Management Ltd. Hired and led a team of 3 engineers to build risk monitoring and due diligence systems for the partnership.

Built and led a team of six engineers building risk and portfolio management systems for the alternative investments arm of Pioneer Global Asset Management Ltd.

After a colleague from Eidos launched his own IT support company serving client's in London's financial markets, he recommended me to Momentum as someone with technical skills and vision who would be able to transform their internal systems to be capable of supporting their rapid growth and global reach.Starting in 2000, I worked with the Portfolio Managers and Head of Risk to establish the as-is and to-be to enable us to build a roadmap for the solution. Growing the team to 4 engineers we built and evolved a globally distributed system enabling the New York, London, Tel-Aviv and Bermuda offices to co-ordinate due-diligence, risk, and portfolio management processes.

I started as a Management Accountant for US Gold in June of 2000, responsible for financial modelling of the licensing contracts the games producer engaged in. I envisaged a technical solution that would enable the business to automate a significant portion of the work involved with controlling the engagements and understanding the financial impacts of slippage on the business.After proposing the solution to the board, I was given the opportunity to lead the implementation, in partnership with an outsourced provider. My role transitioned into Internal Systems Lead, and my technology journey began.
