Clients included: Capital Weekly, Cardinal Health, Elk Grove Unified School District, Maximus• Co-designed and implemented the scheduling engine for Maximus SchoolMax product, using C++ and QT within the Visual Studio IDE that provided the ability to schedule 2,000 students in 3 minutes. • Designed an archive system to backup software and data files, with encryption, into the Zip file format for Ventana Medical Systems. • Reverse engineered Hewlett-Packard’s Student Scheduling Engine into a 60-page Visio diagram of the process. This information helped Elk Grove Unified School District to design their new Student Information System.• Authored, designed and deployed a Cobol-based lottery bonus distribution system for Elk Grove Unified School District to equitability distribute the total lottery bonus dollars to each employee based on the employees’ annual salary as a ratio to the total of all employees’ salaries. • Created an automated process using Delphi HTML component to extract the salaries of CA state employees from the state’s public web site. The structure of the web site was in three levels, department, employee within a department, and the specific employee’s salary. The application had to “walk” down each level to retrieve the data, allowing the newspaper, Capital Weekly, to publish salary information with little effort on their part. • Authored a Conference Room Reservation System for Hewlett-Packard Visual Basic. This application provided for one-time and recurring reservations of meeting rooms at the HP Roseville, Palo Alto and Colorado sites. • Designed and implemented a laptop-based system (Delphi) for Cardinal Health that could scan UPC symbols and print product labels. Scanning was conducted with an Intermec’s Janus2020 RF scanner. The data was sent to a laptop via a wireless TCP/IP connection and then processed against their master database to produce customized shelf labels for pharmacies.

The legislative data was reformatted (into plain character text with bold, strikethrough, and italics) and distributed to LegiTech’s subscribers (lobbyist) who were using ‘dumb’ terminals at the time, and used to track bill passage through committees. • Designed and implemented a serial interface from the SmartClock time and attendance reporting device to the HP-3000 mainframe computer systems.• Created application to automatically 'load' spreadsheet (designed by the State of California) with data from a database on the HP-3000 mainframe. This eliminated data entry errors and the manual labor required to present this information to the State.• Designed, coded, & inplemented a subroutine for Lassen College to dynamaticly convert dumb terminal screen control sequences into the format of the HP-3000 character oriented display terminals, eliminating the need to convert hundreds of programs to the new display terminals and enabling the continuation 'old' control sequences to still function properly on the new HP terminals.
