As a student supervisor for the ONU Phonathon, I work alongside the assistant director of annual giving to ensure the call center is properly being ran. I coach and encourage callers to do their best and raise the maximum amount of money possible during nightly shift. In addition, I work in the office to run daily reports, mail pledge cards and thank yous, as well as, oversee caller scheduling.

As an intern for the Cedar Point human resources office, some of my responsibilities included reviewing and revising the on-boarding process for both domestic and international associates, leading the on-boarding process for approximately 1,500 international associates, creating and developing a local recruiting program, and working with other departments including Associate Services, Associate Housing, and Wardrobe. During my time as an intern, I was able to develop working relationships with managers and leadership from around the park and gain valuable experience in all aspect of human resources.

As a company trainer for Cedar Point, my responsibilities include presenting the four cornerstones of safety, service, cleanliness, and courtesy, supported by integrity through company orientation. In addition, I welcome all of our international associates through the international orientation. I also work with the housing department to present the policies and procedures for all associates that will reside in company housing. Throughout the season, I also assist the human resources office with processing new associates into and out of employment with Cedar Point and the associate services division with associate events and benefits.

As a mountain ambassador, I was responsible for setting up and tearing down ski lift fencing and signage as well as inspecting the lift according to resort and state guidelines and policies. In addition, greeting all guests to the resort, checking lift tickets, and properly loading and unloading guests was part of my duties. I was also responsible for maintaining lift loading and unloading areas.

Over see day to day floor operations of the cafe, manage associate deployment around cafe, over see daily check sheets and food safety guidelines, associate weekly scheduling, cash handling and reconciliation, closing or opening of cafe. Before be coming a shift supervisor, I worked as a certified trainer and an associate.
