My career at FSG was a wonderful learning experience working with 5 National Accounts. I enjoyed working the complete projects starting with prints, doing the take off, preparing the submittal, building the quote, entering the final order, purchasing the material for the job, shipping the material to the job site and finally getting everything installed. There are a lot of moving parts and that is what keeps it interesting.

Texas And Beyond...

As the Senior Project Manager for this LED Manufacturer I had to wear a lot of hats. Our customer base consisted of Commercial Office Buildings, Multi-family complexes, hospitals and colleges. The process started with auditing the job site and preparing the Bill Of Materials. Once awarded I conducted a Pre-installation Meetig with the management of the facility and went over the entire installation process so that everybody knew what to expect. The first day of the installation found me onsite with the crew making sure they had everything they would need to start and finish the install. Most jobs were completed in 2-3 weeks and I was a regular visitor, staying in touch with the crew and sharing updates with the customer. I was always there on the final day to make sure we had done all the things we needed to do to turn the project over to the customer. I was responsible for the Pruf Installation Team and 3 electrical contractors. It was not uncommon to have 3 or 4 jobs working at the same time and no two jobs were alike. It was truly a sad day when Pruf closed the doors.

Crawford is a leading Electrical Distributor in Texas and now has expanded to Southeast Louisiana. They serve Commercial, Residential and Industrial contractors. Our goal was simple: Be the #1 Electrical Distributor by doing “Whatever It Takes” to service our customers.

My focus was Government and Education Accounts consisting of cities, counties, municipalities, school districts, and colleges. I was a member of the Texas Energy Managers Association and worked with K-12 school districts all over the North Texas area. During this time the LED was introduced so Energy and Maintenance savings were the focus of the time.
