Arborist. Practicing Agro-Forestry with Loblolly Yellow Pine. Taught courses for the Boy Scouts on Forest Management and Nature. Active in the American Tree Farm System.

Judge. Busy elections in 2024. In General Election, managed and trained 3 teams of 5 election workers each, voting equipment and assisted the voters. Enforced the election laws in the State of Texas for the primaries and general election. With the new VoteSafe and DS200, I was able to debug some of the issues for Fort Bend County, Texas.

Board of Directors. Aircraft rentals, flight lessons, and aircraft sell/buy/trading.

Automation Engineer. Developed basic controls and APC for various refining applications using Honeywell C300 DCS and PLCs. Lead Facilitator for Alarm Rationalizations with Fortune 500 Oil & Gas Companies, managed up to 3 people for this work. Cisco Networking, VMWare Virtualization, Alarm Rationalization, PLC programming, Visual Basic, and Distributed Control Systems Subject Matter Expert.

Automation Engineer. Trained internal engineers and clients on the CS3000 DCS/PLC, Foundation Fieldbus, and ProSafe SIS. Course included PID, Feed Forward, and other basic control using standard control blocks and structured logic. Trained other trainers to continue work and managed 3 trainers. Updated class material and course development. Clients were Fortune 500 Oil and Gas, Manufacturers, and Academics. The classes were held both in the United States and Internationally.

Network Engineer. Designed and builtout business networks/subnets using Cisco and Extreme routers and switch products. Managed subcontractors for network buildout. Worked with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Marketing the company products. Also, maintained active online sales.

Automation Engineer. Project Manager for several projects in Peoples Republic of China, Team Lead and managed 10 engineers for software and hardware installation, Y2K Remediation Director with staff of 20 engineers, Distributed Control System Subject Matter Expert.

Craftsman. Personally designed, manufactured, and marketed silver and gold jewelry. I worked independently as a craftsman.

Radio Announcer. Played music w/ requests, make school announcements, checked the power levels (Mhz), cable feeds, equipment and inventory the vinyl. My claim to fame was broadcasting Friday nights directly into the Dixie Chicken on behest of Don Ganter (RIP); good Texas Space Cowboy music, Wille, Waylon and the Boys.

Process Engineer. Catalytic Cracking Unit. Was responsible for daily operations of hydrocarbon separation for fuel and chemicals.

Auto Mechanic. Worked in a team of mechanics doing all aspects of automobile repair. Troubleshooting automobiles before computer control and CAM.

Lifeguard. Peformed life guard duties and taught Life Saving Merit Badge
