I have five years of experience in the logistics industry, which I gained while serving in the United States Navy. During my time in the service, I acquired experience in project management, financial management, and supply chain management. I developed skills in leadership roles and developed the tools to lead teams. I have proposed and established concepts for improving standards & operations as well as mitigated loss of assets on a global scale and a multimillion-dollar level. I have managed reports, providing daily updates on the logistics of crucial parts and equipment, which aided in mission completion. By utilizing these reports effectively, I was able to ensure both compliance and quality assurance levels were up to standards which benefited my place of employment and coworkers. I have taken project management courses, resulting in PMI certification as well as the completion of Lean Six Sigma courses which as a result enabled the attainment of both yellow and green belts. I have proficiency with integrated software applications such as Microsoft Suite, utilizing Excel with the deployment of functions and preparing reports as well as gathering data to extract information, being able to present collected data as information into PowerPoint.
