As Associate Dean of Counselling and Social Work developed, wrote, co-ordinated and lectured 3-year Bachelor of Counselling (and associated diplomas) for the preparation of counsellors and family support workers. Initiated the online delivery of the programmes and led this development. Developed and co-wrote the Bachelor of Social work degree. Senior Management portfolio responsibilities have included: • Strategic and annual planning and engagement with Directors on strategic issues• Finance Team membership including the setting, monitoring and reporting of annual institutional budgets, forecasts and assessments of financial position,• Graduation ceremony leadership and oversight,• Publicity and promotions, special events and fundraising, • Academic programme development, taking new programme ideas from conception through submission and approval to implementation,• Flexible delivery development, initiating development of the campus distance learning programme, • Chair of Research & Development and Staff Support Committees,• IT liaison across campus and general management,• Self-Review and assessment plan development and implementation,• Founding of original Family Centre providing counselling, workshops and resources. • Deputised for the Executive Dean/CEO during her extended absence.Lecturing foci:• Personal Integration, Relationships and Leadership;• Biblical Mandate for Social Concern;• A/NZ Social Contexts;• Families and Family Strengthening;• Cognitive and Narrative Therapy skills papers.
