We provide executive and business coaching and mentoring for individuals and teams in sectors such as a financial services, manufacturing, global energy, UK utilities, insurance, IT outsourcing, transport and distribution and public-private joint-ventures.Francis also offers coach mentoring and supervision for individuals or groups of coaches who want to transform their coaching practice or get a professional accreditation.

Provided leadership to a team of 6 partners, supporting clients in the development of vision, the creation of plans and resource to bring this to reality. This included strategy facilitation, coaching, mentoring and education programmes, integrated with project implementation; and the creation of appropriate organisational and business structures to allow change to genuinely happen - and 'stick'.

Non-Exec Chairman of special needs training centre, catering for people with mental & physical disability, excluded pupils, as well as other community and school groups.Working with the founder-manager, I returned the company to stability following crisis in governance – facilitated change of constitution to achieve stable governance and charitable status, mentored manager in development of 3-year strategy, and recruited new directors with range of necessary skills. Handed over to new chairman, as planned, with the business in a state of commercial and organisational health

Took business from start-up consultancy with a partner, to being an integrated support service with a team of employed and contracted professional specialists. Provided business advice, corporate M&A support, executive coaching & mentoring, marketing design services, and business training and education to over 300 clients across the UK. Client base included owner managed SMEs, through to large corporate such as Ricoh (UK) Products, Thomas Cook, First Milk and Kingspan Group.

Founded and ran software training company, building it from sole-trader, via incorporating in 1998, into being a business serving large corporate and SME clients with a team of 20 staff and associates.Introduced Management Skills training before reconstructing business through start of Ninedots and disposal of IT training to Abel's training manager.

First ‘non-family’ manager in a founder run charity, mandated by Trustees to grow occupancy and professionalise residential activity centre for young people, providing education, personal & spiritual development, and recreation. Implemented professional organisational structures & processes, doubled occupancy and turnover, and introduced accessible services for young people from socially deprived areas. Grew 30-strong team through staff recruitment and innovative volunteer schemes.

Operational responsibility for policing in Newcastle and Sunderland. included specialist posting leading team of officers involved in public order management, discreet observation and crime detection, IED search and safety, and other specialist functions. I was selected for accelerated development, was promoted sergeant, attended the 'Special Course' designed to prepare young officers for the highest ranks, and spent periods of time acting in the rank of Inspector before deciding to leave and pursue alternative vocation.
