Manage the integration of acquired businesses into Cisco Technology and Quality (T&Q) systems and processes using both project and relationship management experience. Transition legacy processes into Cisco’s automated quality systems. Led cross-functional teams with internal and external partners through multi-faceted, concurrent programs worth more than $10 million in annual savings, inventory reductions, supply chain simplifications and delivery improvements. Transferred and consolidated printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) manufacturing as well as direct fulfillment (DF) of several complex technology platforms with positive results impacting multiple Cisco business units.

Launched and implemented Lean Manufacturing process for electromechanical and DF commodities -- worth millions of dollars in inventory reductions and increased productivity. Reduced risk by upgrading the supply chain to respond to changes in the environment. Taught best practices to manufacturing teams, component suppliers and contract manufacturers that required dramatic standardization changes and process improvements. Identified and resolved issues during “go live” phase.

Managed commodity teams and cross-functional partners in the development and execution of worldwide sourcing strategies for interconnect and power supply commodities. Conducted business reviews, surveys and gap analyses with suppliers to evaluate cost, quality, delivery, support and technology alignment. Drove corporate initiatives focused on automated cost management, supply base classification and delivery improvement.
