International Fire Protection (IFP) is an Alabama-based fire suppression company. IFP began as a single office, with two employees, in Madison, Alabama, in June 1990. Now, IFP currently maintains 10 offices serving 14 states, and is one of the largest sprinkler contractors in the southeast. Our fast growth is based on our emphasis on customer focus and our mission statement. IFP has developed relationships with general contractors, large industries, and a variety of business owners from small and large companies. IFP is currently organized into four different customer service groups:The INSPECTION group consists of 35 highly trained field employees who specialize in checking all types of fire protection systems in accordance with the requirements of manufacturers and the national fire codes.The SERVICE group consists of 75 field employees focused on tenant infill and renovations of existing fire protection systems. In addition, they are on call 24 hours each day for any fire emergency.The CONTRACTS group consists of 150 employees specializing in large jobs involving new installations and major renovations.The ALARM & DETECTION was established in 2003. This group of 30 employees install, inspects, and services all types of fire alarms, security alarms, phone systems, and call systems.In order to support the customer service groups, IFP has developed a professional staff of 70 employees consisting of sales personnel, fire protection design engineers, administrative assistants, corporate staff and fabrication technicians._________________________________________________I am an Inspection Sales Representative within International Fire Protection.
