Richard T. Sargeant is a member of Eastman & Smith Ltd.'s Environmental and Public Law Practice Groups. He graduated from Capital University in 1969 with a bachelor of science degree and from The Ohio State University College of Law, cum laude, in 1975. He has practiced in the area of environmental, administrative and public law for the past 35 years.Mr. Sargeant has chaired both the Administrative Law Committee and the Environmental Law Committee of the Ohio State Bar Association, and, since 1992 has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America. He has authored articles or chapters published in several treatises, The Ohio Lawyer, Ohio Administrative Law (West Group) and Ohio Environmental Law (Banks-Baldwin). He has been a frequent speaker on a variety of environmental and administrative law subjects before legal, engineering and business groups including the Ohio State Bar Association, Ohio Environmental Engineers Association, Chamber of Commerce and the County Commissioners Association of Ohio.
