Created a disaster/recovery document based on Legato Networker. Environment exists of a Baan environment running with an Oracle database. With this document it is possible to fall-back to another server with storage located in another building.After this project delivery of on-going support on their Oracle/Sun Solaris server and storage for their Baan environment.

During this period I have installed new Oracle hardware existing of 2 x Oracle S7-2 servers, 2 x SL4000 tape libraries and 2 x ZFS appliances ZS5-2's.On both servers logical domains are created running Solaris 11.4. The logical domains are configured as cluster nodes of a SunCluster 4.4 environment.Finally the Hierarchical Storage Management software, HSM 6.1-04, is installed on both cluster nodes and completely configured in the cluster. The EMC Networker environments are upgraded from version 8.2 to 18.1. The EMC Networker environments were existing of a backup server, the tape libraries and clients and modules. Backup server was running on Linux.

During this period I was busy with the preparation en execution of the following.- Replace old Oracle Hardware by new Oracle Hardware (servers and storage)- Replace or upgrading software, Solaris 10 -> 11, SAMFS 5.3 -> HSM6.1.3, ACSLS 8 -> 8.4- Implementing Logical Domains- Replacing Sun Cluster 3.3 -> Sun Cluster 4.3 by use of logical domains with HSM as application- Fine tuning the environmentAt this moment the environment is running in production.

Managing and improving Oracle Servers and Storage (ZFS appliances) and two EMC Networker environments.

During this period I was busy with the migration of two BaanIV environments to new Oracle T5 servers, running in zones. First part was prepare BaanIV is such a way that it was possible to use the SLM license manager of Infor. For this it was necessary to install about 200 Infor BaanIV Solutions. During this period I have migrated a Solaris 9 server to an Oracle T4 server running with Branded Solaris 9 zones. This environment is added to the Netbackup environment.First a test migration is executed. Finally in November the final migration is executed successfully.

During this project I was busy with a migration of backup clients from HP Dataprotector to EMC Networker. Backups are made to an EMC Datadomain.Several Networker modules are used for backing up SQL, Oracle and Exchange. A large number of clients were running on VMWare.

This project was based on EMC Avamar. I did administrative tasks on Avamar like checking backups, configuring backups, executing restores etc.. I documented their environment and worked close with people of Reasonnet to get them familiar with Avamar.

During this period I was busy with the migration of a netbackup environment to new hardware. At the same time Netbackup is upgraded to the latest version.Hardware used is an Oracle T4-server with an Oracle ZS3-2 Storage server. The T4 server is configured with totally 8 Logical Domains (Solaris Ldoms). One of them is the master server. The others are media servers. This environment exists of about 250 physical clients with different Operating Systems. During this period I did administrative tasks on several Solaris servers. I also configured Oracle T5 servers with Logical domains (Solaris Ldoms) and migrated some servers with the Ldom migration tool to these logical domains.

During this period I have migrated several Solaris 9 servers to an Oracle T4 server running with Branded Solaris 9 zones.All these environments are added to the Netbackup environment.

Managing 2 Legato Networker environments, several Solaris servers and Sun storage (SE7410 and SE7420). Tuning of backups, migration of a SE7410 storage server to a SE7420 storage server. Upgrading several Oracle 10 databases to oracle 11.

-Design and implementing backup environments with Networker (EMC) and Netbackup (Symantec)-Migrating of Baan environments to new hardware

During my period at Sun Microsystems I have developped myself as backup expert. I was busy with designing and implementing backup environments, solving of backup problems, tuning of backups, etc..I used Legato Networker and Veritas Netbackup.In the meantime also certified for the backup software Netvault of Dell.Because of my background I also did Baan migrations of Unix platforms to Solaris, including installing/configuring Solaris OS, printers, users etc.

As baan specialist I was involved in designing and programming of new modules in the Baan software for Sensormatic.This software was used in several european countries where I also have implemented this software.
