I'm an experienced Engineering Technician IV\Mechanical Designer with 15+ years of experience. My experience includes building\assembling and designing(Solidworks) simple to complex mechanical parts, components and assemblies. I also have experience in cable harness assembly utilizing my soldering and crimping skills. I have assembled and tested automated equipment and have performed standard testing and inspection for customer approval. I have performed compatibility testing, process improvement, return analysis as well during my years of employment.I am familiar with following test equipment and test set ups: 3D printing FDM and 3D Resin printing, Soldering(thru-hole, some surface mount), Connector Crimping, Digital Multi-meter, Temperature Chamber, Helium Leak Testing, Vibration Testing, Instron Unit Testing. My strong work ethic, experience, dedication, ability to learn quickly, coupled with my attention to detail and can do attitude has offered me the opportunity to work for great companies and meet great people. I have obtained Supervisor experience by utilizing my people skills and communication to build and structure teams that value respect, knowledge, hard work and dedication. I have managed small teams with 6 team members to large teams containing 35+ team members all focused on maintaining and reaching company goals and maintaining a positive work culture\evironment. As a Mechanical Designer- I do Solidworks consulting\freelance work under RKRG Designs for inventors and small\large companies performing product design or drafting work.My work with inventors has introduced me to designing products from small to large, toys to dynamic mechanical pieces. I can take an idea and expand on it using my knowledge and experience to bring an inventors idea to patent as well as building as designed prototype assemblies. I used 3D FDM and 3D Resin printing to design and create functional prototype pieces. I also have a small network of machine shops with various capabilities I use to help me bring an invention to life.I am also an inventor, I currently hold 2 US Utility Patents(Issued) and 1 US Design Patent(Issued).
