Ensuring working capital kept to a minimum through active management of debtors and negotiating appropriate contract terms. Managing risk through use of risk matrix, addressing security, technical, financial and commercial aspects. Managing resources to match technical and commercial prioritiesClient Management - Dealing with a range of stakeholders including State Water Boards, The Federal Ministry and Funding agencies (EC, World Bank, DfID,).Bidding - Preparing bids and negotiating fees for major projects such as Kaduna Multi State and Katsina Multi State Water Supply Projects (each funded by World Bank for $45m) . Numerous bids for water supply, and institutional projects (e.g. Private Sector Participation studies with Severn Trent Int’l for Kano and Gombe States, Nigeria)Staff - Managing a small team in the UK and a large disparate workforce employed both directly and indirectly.Technical - Project Manager for Operation and Maintenance Training for Southern Region Water Board, Malawi, for a Rural Water Gravity water supply project for World Bank in Sierra Leone, a Small Town Water Supply Project- Monitoring and Evaluation, Fed Ministry, Nigeria and a National Framework for Water and Sanitation Monitoring, Nigeria.Project Director for Lesotho Lowlands Water Supply, Lesotho and Team Leader for World Bank PSP studies in Kano and Gombe States, Nigeria.
