I serve in Technology for the Lonoke School District, helping manage and maintain various hardware and software systems. I also founded makerspaces at the district and helped facilitate robotics at three campuses.The roles I have held for Lonoke School District also encompassed being the coordinator for BloomBoard, GPS Dashboard, the lead contact for SSO accounts, assisted with grant writing, and I also served on the Personnel Policies Committee, the School of Innovation Team, and as a Technology Ambassador. I also implemented and maintain student data privacy training and a disaster plan in case the data is compromised.Prior to Lonoke Public Schools, my latest IT experience was as the System Administrator for Clipless, a “contextual deals” app created by Michael Barnathan which found deals identified by your location. Clipless was showcased on several leading magazines including Techcrunch, C/Net, The Guardian, Android Police, Android Junkies, Android Authority, MarketWatch, and Business Journals.I worked in many IT-related environments, evolving my skills as technology improved. I started officially with my experience at Dillard's, becoming the primary trainer for new employees in the mainframe/server environment, managing up to fourteen associates in their daily activities. I worked with the American Red Cross for several years, where I highly evolved my recruitment skills and customer service while serving the community. I became the top recruiter for new apheresis donors in the United States for three consecutive years.I also worked with the Arkansas Department of Education assisting new teachers and administrators as well as assisting the division's financial advisor. I became the primary point of contact and support for Arkansas school districts for process and procedure in regards to the mentoring programs.When I am not learning a new skill, I donate time to the local independent movie industry or working on real estate ventures.
