Richard Young is the owner of North East Design Consultants. A North East based company offering bespoke Website Design, Graphic Design, Illustration and Internet Marketing to small and medium sized businesses. Over the past 20 years Richard has worked with many businesses across a variety of industries up to director level, has a HDN in Graphic Design and further qualifications in Psychology, Fine Art and Illustration. Richard provides web services, giving business owners the tools to effectively market their businesses online. In April 2011 he was hired by the Director of LSC Web Services to move their product and service levels forward and bring skill sets to the company that were missing. Richard bought the company from the LSC Directors in January 2013 and rebranded it North East Design Consultants.Richard is very much a people person, and enjoys meeting clients and engaging with them to best determine what will work for their individual businesses. He prides himself on creating an informal and relaxed atmosphere and believes in an honest and no-nonsense approach to producing web service solutions.Richard has produced work for such noted companies as the BBC, Fleetway, Marvel, Reeds Rains and Your Move and was the “Webmaster” of Blackburn College. Richard has also run two pubs in Lancashire and Yorkshire and has produced freelance illustration work for Fleetway Publications, Doctor Who Magazine as well as a number of private commissions.
