He is a past chair, vice chair, and member of the board for Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). He has previously served on the boards of the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center, and the Georgia Tech Alumni Association.Rich graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and has completed the Executive Development Program at Northwestern’s Kellogg Business School. Rich resides in Chamblee, Georgia with his wife Nina, and is blessed with 3 young adult children – Megan, Christian, and Aubrey.

Once approved, was core member of leadership team responsible for acquiring the property, building the attraction and then running it during the summer of 1996. I led marketing and PR for Coca-Cola Olympic City in 1995-1996. It was, and still is, the largest marketing asset activation in the history of The Coca-Cola Company and its longstanding partnership with the Olympic Games. This effort had a wonderful legacy for the city of Atlanta -- the property that housed Coca-Cola Olympic City in 1996 is now home to the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola and the Civil Right Museum.
