In my role at the DC Deputy Mayor for Education's office, I analyze student-level data within and across school years in order to discern trends in the public school and public charter school sectors, to include trends in enrollment, demographic trends, and performance outcomes. I holistically evaluate data on public school students, schools, and facilities. I have notably contributed to the 2018 DC Public Education Master Facilities Plan, a comprehensive study for future school facilities planning, and EdScape, an interactive online planning tool meant to support program and school planning.

Worked as a Data Analyst with the DC Deputy Mayor for Education, as one of 540 Fellows selected from 6,500 top graduate students and emerging leaders for the 2015-2016 Education Pioneers leadership development program. I completed high-impact projects for the DC Deputy Mayor for Education, to include data analysis and synthesis of the education landscape in the District. Through Education Pioneers, I also gained additional leadership skills, expanded my professional network, and engaged in professional development workshops.

I assisted in the management of Parsons General Services Administration (GSA) Special Projects Division (SPD): drafting proposals for task orders, preparing weekly and monthly reports, and providing a range of support services to on-site staff. I also performed quality assurance checks on Navy Unaccompanied Housing Assessment installation reports; since my hire, the percentage of reports delivered on time has increased and the number of errors has decreased from previous task order years, resulting in greater client satisfaction.

I supported the communications needs of a Customs and Border Protection office, including drafting and editing memos, letters, presentations, and other forms of communications. I also implemented the use of a SharePoint Knowledge Management System site to track the routing process for all communications deliverables and documents; tracking the routing process allowed them to decrease the amount of time needed to complete a communications request.

I updated the Economic Development data, as well as developed a survey to administer to focus groups in order to improve the communication between the City and its residents, students, and visitors.
