22 years experience in the packaging industry at Orora glass. Current role is logistics supervisor in supply chain supervising the packaging, repack and resort operations also with a shared responsibility of the warehouse team in Adelaide, South Australia. Working closely along side the supply / demand manager and the finished products team to keep the plant operational. Recently completed 3 projects upgrading the pre-existing machines to automation with a team of 24 people across a 24/7 roster. Previous work within supply chain as the logistics team leader, also a warehouse operations coordinator across 5 onsite warehouses, both with onsite automation and manual put away / staging. Catering approx 75 loads per day ranging from Rigid to B triples and RORO operations. It is a fast paced rewarding environment where safety is paramount. Coordinating the days loads, ensure DIFOT and FIFO, forward planning for the coming day working closely with the customer service team, warehouse teams, production and external contractors it is the central part of the days operations. Supporting, understanding and signing off on CTW being undertaken. Previous experience of 5 years in inventory control implementing procedures and processes, education and investigation of data and stock levels across the warehousing systems including writing documentation and manuals for our external warehouses across Australia.Have a strong passion for travel and seeing the world which I have been lucky enough to have seen over 30 countries.
