Knoxville, Tennessee
Proven track record on developing geologic models to identify and characterize CO2 storage targets in both saline and depleted hydrocarbon reservoirs across the US. 1. Utilize wireline logs and core data to evaluate multiple prospective reservoirs at individual fields or regionally at the county/state scale. 2. Experienced in interpreting formation tops, developing reservoir properties (vclay/vshale, effective porosity, water saturation) and feeding properties into dynamic simulations to model CO2 plume saturations to establish an Area of Review (AoR) for Class VI permitting. 3. Integrate geologic modelling into Class VI permits - I have contributed to three Class VI permits that have been submitted with the EPA to construct Class VI wells at different locations across the USA.
