The Catering and Conference Services department is responsible for overseeing client functions to ensure customer satisfaction of meeting and event experiences for groups both small and large. The Catering department solicits new catering accounts and maintains relationships with existing accounts to maximize profits. The Catering and Conference Services team works closely with the Banquets and Culinary departments to ensure all guest needs are met.As a Personal Wedding Assistant I act as a main point of contact for the VIP’s/Wedding party throughout the course of an event.Job Duties and Responsibilities:• Assist in providing clients with personalized on-site coordination of events.• Assist various departments with overseeing the correct set-up of the ceremony and reception site.• Assisting vendors with their set-up to answer questions with regards to product placement.• Answer guest inquiries and offers assistance as needed.• Direct guests and the wedding party to appropriate areas as needed throughout the evening.• Serve as a resource to the Bride & Groom to meet all requests/needs.• Assist with the set up and break down of wedding decor items.• Maintain the schedule and time line for all special events throughout the reception.• Maintain a complete knowledge of service requirements for each scheduled function including, butnot limited to, menu selections, group name and background, type of function and expectedattendance, scheduled hours of service, special requests.• Attend trade shows or events with the Catering team as needed.• Perform related responsibilities as requested by a manager at any time.
