I'm currently responsible for the acoustic design of a number of residential schemes from pre-planning through to completion, in terms of architectural, environmental and building services considerations. I'm also responsible for most of RBA's demolition and construction noise assessment work having a lot of experience liaising with contractors and EHPs. I have a lot of experience in on-site acoustic fault finding, Public Inquiries, Planning Appeals and Hearings, acoustic design of offices, schools (including SEN), hospitals, police stations, airports, cinemas, television studios, as well as full ES preparations, transportation noise assessments and Noise at Work. I am a Robust Details Inspector and ANC registered tester, am responsible for client development, assisting junior staff and signing off reports. I have excellent people skills, a good working knowledge of many relevant UK and International Standards, and actively keep up to date with latest developments. I was actively involved with the Association of Noise Consultants (ANC) for a number of years, being the main representative at Atkins where I also managed audits, training and registration of junior staff, and served on the Membership Steering Committee.
