Loan Optics has developed a software solution to revolutionise the syndicated lending market, including origination, syndication, administration, and secondary trading. I provided leadership on product strategy, commercial models, ownership structures, funding options, and the spin-out under which Loan Optics became part of an established company in the syndicated lending software sector.

TIM Group operates the world’s largest independent network for the distribution of trade ideas and investment recommendations from investment banks and research houses to institutional asset managers. The company provides investors with insights that earn market-beating returns, and helps originators of market insight to earn incremental revenue. My achievements at TIM Group included:● Established the company in 2002 via management buy-out from a larger organisation.● Built a network of 300 contributing firms and 300 recipient firms.● Developed products to enable clients to distribute, utilise, and gain value from trade ideas.● Built a team of technologists, sales executives, support reps, data scientists, and operational managers.● Raised venture capital/private equity, venture debt and bank financing.● Acquired and integrated a US-based competitor.● Created and led a Board comprising investors, independent directors, and management.● Expanded from our London base to a global clientele, with offices in London, New York, Hong Kong.● Sold the company in 2017 to Acuris, a provider of financial news, research, analysis and data.
