Responsible for coordinating with other communications planners at simulation facilities, tactical units and other various agencies (e.g. JBLM NEC, NETCOM, DISA) for all aspects of the exercise communications architecture. Developed plans and IA solutions that provided distribution of data, voice, and VTC over LAN and WAN circuits in both classified and unclassified modes for simulations and stimulation networks; NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and tactical networks, while applying best business practices for Information Assurance, protecting the integrity, confidentiality and availability of the MTC perimeter defense enclave and training networks. Identified potential data processing and performance problems and coordinated a plan with program leads, users, etc. for resolution; made recommendations of modification to enhance computing environment to senior management; developed a Life Cycle management system that to replace legacy devices with more efficient equipment requiring fewer man hours to maintain. Provided leadership and mentoring for Technical Support staff of 22 personnel. Show less
