My Focus has gone beyond teaching incoming freshmen the key functions in business, and how they interconnect, to include the importance of networking. I did this by matching students career interests to content experts (mainly my network of friends & executives in business), and then requiring students to present their findings to the class (to help tune their public speaking and presentational skills). I was fortunate to instruct all 3 sections of Business 100 this fall (2015), impacting over 80 students. This has been one of the most rewarding projects I have ever completed in my 30+ years of business experience.
