I have over 35 years of experience in the IT industry. As a Senior Business Analyst for Bank One and then FIS, I resolved an untold number of issues. But the same could be said of many Analysts. During my career, I garnered the reputation at my companies as the go-to professional to call when a high-profile project or process needed to either get done right the first time, or was in jeopardy of not meeting critical deadlines. I traveled to 5 continents and more than 30 countries doing exactly that. In one instance, I took a project that had hundreds of outstanding, must-fix issues and reduced it to under 10 in 4 weeks without any additional personnel. While I’m very proud of my career, and I like to say that I have a great work ethic, which I certainly do! I think that mostly everyone works hard and gives their best effort. And what really sets me apart is that I know that my hard work isn't enough. Yes, I need to do my part, and I need to have my own successes, but that can only take me so far.
