I benefit from North and Central American experience in a wide spectrum of hospitality leadership positions. Recently completing over 27 years with Accor as General Manager and Regional Vice President overseeing; operations, owner and labor relations, strategic and capital planning and financial performance for branded residences and hotels. I have property management and owner association expertise earned from experiences in urban and resort properties in California, Florida, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, British Colombia, Acapulco, Massachusetts and Riviera Maya. Roles included project development, governance, compliance, sales, owner benefits, design, pre-opening preparation and openings, Director on HOA Boards, corporate relations and operations. With a career focused on achieving luxury standards, I started in food and beverage, transitioned to rooms then by the age of 30, advancing my career to being Managing Director of Deer Valley’s Stein Eriksen Lodge. During my tenure at Stein’s, the property achieved the coveted Conde Nast Traveler Magazines Best Hotel/Resort in the world. The opportunity presented itself to relocate to Telluride and successfully lead the Doral/Carefree Resorts transition from foreclosure to rebirth, serving as the opening General Manager of The Peaks Resort and Spa. Our love for Colorado’s San Juan Mountains propelled my wife and me to raise a family in nature’s grandeur. The developers of Franz Klammer Lodge offered me an opportunity to put down roots and learn residence club development and operations. This relationship flourished, inducting me into Fairmont and then Accor Hotels overseeing their benefit program and portfolio of American residential and mixed-use properties.Yearning for change and oxygen, we relocated to the warmth of Carmel Valley California. I now share my knowledge, experience and leadership skills with interested parties. Whether task force or consulting I have an enduring passion for hospitality and success.
