Co-managed major construction projects for Dining and other auxiliary organizations, ranging in budget from $15,000 to $27M; including construction of a dining hall and major renovations of other foodservice venues. Led cross-functional team charged to assess finances of Athletics organization and develop plan to create a revenue neutral budget. Team consisted of faculty, staff, students and consultants. Developed and presented plan to the President; plan went on to be implemented. Led cross-functional team to present strategies for cost savings for campus vehicle fleet; identified opportunities to save between $470K to $775K. Chief purchasing officer for Office of Business Affairs, negotiating multi-year contracts with values of up to $50M with variety of vendors, resulting in millions of dollars in savings to the university. Senior leader of Printing and Mailing team, IT and payroll, and ID Office, overseeing meal plan sales and ID program execution. Consulted with Dining organization to provide efficient management, leverage technology and create efficiencies for program execution. Contract manager for outsourced services: bookstore, vending and retail foodservice operations; exclusive beverage contract, prime vendor to dining services.Hired, mentored, coached, developed and reviewed direct report staff of 4 senior managers and 1 support staff. Performed budget planning and management, program development and visioning. Engaged in sustainability efforts on campus to help achieve an AASHE Platinum designation. Led three-year pilot for Inclusive Access educational material delivery program. Consulted and coordinated with faculty, staff and bookstore personnel for program implementation. First year included 3 courses with 1450 students and savings of $78,000; final year included 19 courses with 3500 students and saved $1M.
