SR DRILLING ENGINEER* Planned Gulf of Mexico offshore oil and gas wells. Performed well design through geological and geophysical interpretation, well drilling program preparation, AFE preparation, casing point selection, casing/cement design including premium thread selection and drilling mud recommendation.* Rig types to be used floater, jackup, platform/tender assist and barge.* Participated in economic analysis presentation to management.* Acquisition support providing AFE, well design and offset analysis.

SR DRILLING ADVISOR* Planned and supervised the drilling of Gulf of Mexico oil and gas wells. Supervised drilling activities, well design through geological and geophysical data interpretation, well drilling program preparation, AFE preparation, casing point selection, bit/nozzle selection, casing/cement design including premium thread selection and drilling mud recommendation.* Planned Gulf of Mexico Mexican waters shelf wells.* Part of team for Mexican platform/platform rig design and vendor selection.* Recruited and managed supervisory personnel and mentored young engineers.* Mitigated problems including high pressure, ballooning, salt, depletion, side tracking existing wells and directional constraints such as high angle.

FIELDWOOD ENERGY, LLC/APACHE CORPORATION, Houston, Texas DECOMMISIONING/PRODUCTION –Houston* Plan, implement and supervise the abandonment of Gulf of Mexico wells using jack up rig, deepwater intervention vessel or lift boat.* Plan future T&A or P&A of existing shelf and subsea wells in the Gulf of Mexico.* Plan and permit future well workovers and recompletions.* Review and identify potential well workovers and recompletions. DRILLING ADVISOR –Houston* Plan, implement and supervise drilling shelf and subsea wells in the Gulf of Mexico using jackup, floaters, platform and skid off rigs. * Plan future subsea drilling and well intervention. * Challenges include high pressure, depletion, salt, side track, high angle and horizontal. Well depths were between 6,000'-22,500'.* Tieback existing wells including one well felled by a hurricane.

SENIOR DRILLING ENGINEER – Dallas/Houston* Plan and implement drilling subsea and shelf wells in Equatorial Guinea. * Develop and implement PDC usage.* Redesigned mud system in surface section eliminating hole problems.* Develop specifications and recommendation of deepwater services and equipment. * Challenges include were low fracture gradient, hole cleaning and directional and logistical constraints. SENIOR DRILLING ENGINEER/SUPERINTENDENT – Houston* Plan, implement and supervise the drilling and completion of Gulf of Mexico wells. * Completion methods gravel pack, frac pack or standard packer type.* Challenges include high pressure and directional constraints. Well depths were between 8,000'-14,000'

PRINCIPAL ENGINEER – Houston* Prepared domestic turnkey bids for drilling shelf and subsea Gulf of Mexico wells.* Operations engineer for ongoing turnkey projects. * Challenges include high pressure, high temperature, depletion and directional constraints. Well depths were between 7,000'-20,000'ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR – Houston* Managed the preparation and submittal of international turnkey and supervisory services bids. * Bids were for shelf and subsea offshore wells with high pressure, high temperature and directional constraints in remote locations worldwide.SENIOR DRILLING ENGINEER – Venezuela* Bid and awarded the largest turnkey drilling and completion project in industry history. Contract with PDVSA projected revenues of $1 Billion. Provided drilling and completion engineering and management. Other duties included bid evaluations, procurement and expediting of domestic materials, master service contract negotiations and administrative and budgeting duties.* Operations Engineer in Venezuela on a rotational basis for a prior 12 well turnkey drilling package for PDVSA. * Challenges include high temperature, high pressure, depletion in upper hole sections (not consistent), hard abrasive surface hole section (not consistent), directional constraints, logistical constraints and a pressure regression/depletion drive production reservoir (1,000'-2,000' thick sand with interbedded shale).
