Mr. Robinson has more than 20 years of expertise in reserves evaluation and economic modeling throughout all major US conventional and unconventional plays. He brings extensive technical and strategic strengths to the Ensign team where he manages reserves, reservoir, and economic modeling and forecasting and supports business development, field development planning, operations, field surveillance, and production forecasting and optimization.

Reservoir Engineering – Experienced in the application of traditional engineering practices to determine oil and gas reserves such as performance analysis, volumetric analysis, material-balance calculations, PVT analysis, and other reservoir engineering applications. Routinely work with geologists and geophysicists and familiar with geological and geophysical concepts as applied to reservoir performance. Reserves Determinations and Economics Evaluations – Thoroughly acquainted with the applications of the definitions and guidelines provided by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE-PRMS) in determining reserves in connection with economic evaluations for use in SEC reports and filings, bank reports, and acquisition and divestures.Reserve and Corporate Process Audit: Contributed as a third party participant in corporate review processes for major integrated oil companies providing an objective opinion on reserves determinations and adequacy of internal review processes.

Worked with Engineering, Geoscience, and Operations to increase oil and gas production through development drilling, subsurface work-overs, and facilities improvements in various fields in Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas Panhandle, and South Texas.
