Led team of 22 military, civilian, and contractor personnel as MDA Test Director’s interface to US European Command, US Central Command and US Pacific Command for the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). Awarded Military Officer of the Year, 2012, for Test Directorate (#1 of 37 officers).• Led executive reviews for $200 million dollar forward-based, X-band radar deployment to Europe that fulfilled US military agreements with North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and met Presidential and Congressional guidance. Developed BMDS requirements, coordinated strategic defense plans, and analyzed missile defense capability • Validated requirements for over 30 tests and coordinated with the Joint Functional Component Command for Integrated Missile Defense (JFCC IMD) and Operational Test Agency for developmental and operational test objectives • Managed cost, schedule and performance for $6M+ annual budget providing contingency operations and staff support• Directed 30 person Crisis Action Planning team during North Korean space launches; this proactive planning enabled deployed test sensors to collect timely intelligence data to enhance Homeland Defense
