In this critical position, I ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the election process, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.My duties as a Presiding Officer include overseeing the setup and organisation of polling stations, managing the voting process, ensuring ballot security, providing guidance and tutoring to election staff, resolving any issues or disputes that may arise, and ensuring compliance with electoral laws and regulations.I take pride in my role as a Presiding Officer, as it requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and adherence to strict procedures to ensure the integrity and fairness of the electoral process. Through my experience in this role, I have developed strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a keen understanding of the importance of impartiality, confidentiality, and accuracy in conducting elections.
