I am a hard working and conscientious Information Systems Engineer with over 20 years experience in the IT Industry. I am looking for a job opportunity within an infrastructure or support based role.My current employer provides their own property management software and infrastructure to a large global client base. In my current role my main responsibilities have been for the Information Systems infrastructure of the company to over 200 internal users across multiple sites. I have also been providing second and third line support externally to their extensive client base. I have been responsible for creating and delivering virtual environments, training systems and network solutions. I have also been giving technical advice to the development team to ensure new products have been implemented smoothly with limited disruption to clients. Within my Support work I have engaged with customers of varying IT abilities and I pride myself on ensuring that I provide a professional, friendly and approachable service. I have received a number of commendation letters from clients and internal directors thanking me for my approachability, professional manner and getting the job done. I have a proven record in project management being solely responsible for the upgrading and delivery of internal software and hardware systems for over 6 years. I take a proactive approach to problem solving to ensure that networks are managed effectively. I am continuously searching for opportunities to develop and extend my skills and knowledge to ensure that I am able to implement new technologies as they are developed and implemented within the IT industry. I have always enjoyed working with junior colleagues and acting as a mentor to them as they progress within their career.
