As the Business Affairs Manager, I handle all HR/Financials along with some IT and Event On Site Management.

 Responsible for all application support, integration and development efforts for specialty retailer with sales of $180 million annually. Key applications include merchandising, financials, planning, data warehouse, point of sale, labor scheduling and other custom developed software.  Provide level two and level three support for the entire business. Applications include JDA (MMS 4R5), SAP POS (Triversity GM Transactionware), Staffworks, Data Warehouse, HR Web Application, and Digital Listening Stations. Work with in house departments & outside vendors to provide pos system expectations for their needs Managed Configurator Database for SAP POS (Triversity GM Transactionware) Troubleshoot any software bugs / errors and work with developers for solution Communicate any new procedures either through updating our Technical Manual or providing brief training material for store use Manage Dept needs and execution at outside festivals stores participated in: Coachella (Indio California), Lollapalooza (Chicago), All Points West (New York/New Jersey) and Outside Lands (San Francisco).

 Responsible for overall store operations and profitability. Responsibility included day-to-day business activities, inventory management (decentralized buying and returns), human resources, loss prevention, expense control, P&L, advertising/promotion and budgetary planning.  Have a complete working knowledge of store budgets, inventory levels, turn targets, wages, costs, etc… Virgin Megastore operates as a stand-alone unit within chain, where the general manager has control over. Managed three different stores between 13,000 to 28,000 square feet. Sales volumes ranged from 3 to 8 million annually with staff up to 60 Stores were located in Costa Mesa, Ontario and Anaheim (aka Block @ Orange) Successfully managed P&L of each location achieving increases in EBITDA 8 of 9 years by controlling payroll, controlling expenses along with driving sales, specifically with product departments higher in margin Project Manager for annual music festivals (Coachella, KROQ Weenieroast, Doheny Blues Festival, Pasadena Jazz Festival & KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas) along with instore events (No Doubt, Pamela Anderson, Blink-182) Trained future and current Management teams at other locations when instructed by Regional Sales Manager Tested the following new systems prior to chain rollout for IT: Special Order System, @POS Signature Devices implementation, Data Warehouse aka Crescendo (provided real time sales analysis which included traffic conversion) Employee Of The Year Winner 1997 & 2000

 Primary role was to focus on seeking opportunities to increase and maximize sales potential and profit margins of all product lines carried within the stores (Stores & Annual Sales: Burbank $8 Million, Costa Mesa $3 Million, Ontario $8.5 Million, Orange $6.5 Million, Sunset $15 Million) Responsible for monitoring the management of inventories, budgets and purchasing activities of Regional Inventory Coordinators and Supervisors to improve their job performance while Managing our Costa Mesa store.
