I am the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Consultant with a firm that provides consulting services for public safety organizations in the area of 2-way radios and dispatch training. The services that we provide are: assistance with finding the correct portable and mobile radios for purchase; assisting with the purchase (providing the best pricing resources) and training after the purchase to the organization. I also provide Fire/Police Dispatch training. These classes consists of; DISPATCH LEVEL II (training the new recruit and seasoned dispatcher in just exactly what happens in the day in the life of a firefighter and how they can assist us with having excellent dispatching skills)PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) This class will teach the student or seasoned Dispatcher, Firefighter, Paramedic or Police Officer ways to prevent and overcome PTSD. The instructor will teach on how this disorder prematurely retired him, what he went through and how he overcame this mind crippling disorder.

I am responsible for training public safety agencies on any of the portable and mobile radios sold by Relm Wireless. I specialize with the new KNG series portable and mobile radios.With the training, I start by going over what frequencies, CTCSS tones and repeaters are and how they work together. I then go through a very extensive Powerpoint presentation (that was produced by Gary Kessler, Relm Training Coordinator, who past a few years ago) This CD, called the KNG Assistant, covers both how the KNG radio is programmed through the computer and how it is programmed through the keypad.I am also an Authorized Dealer for all BK TECHNOLOGY products.

I started as a Volunteer Firefighter, while promoting through the ranks and eventually starting my career in 1989 as the last Fire Engineer being hired. At this time we only had a Fire Captain and Fire Engineer at each Fire Station. In 1994 I was promoted to Fire Captain. Soon after my promotion, I became the Communications Coordinator. I was the ECC Liaison and I had the responsibility for all frequency management, radio programming and training.

I'm a RETIRED instructor in the Fire and Police Academies. I instruct a portion of the POST (Police Officer Standards of Training) Dispatch Academy. I instruct in various classes throughout the Basic Fire Academy.
