My name is Rick Thomas, I'm an NASM-certified personal trainer living and working in the Oklahoma City metro area. My goal is to provide you with a personal fitness program that builds a strong foundation for future success, both within my program and beyond. My passion to become a personal trainer really grew out of my own curiousity about nutrition, fitness, and health. Although I was an athlete in my younger years, my poor diet and lack of proper exercise caught up to me and by my early-mid twenties I was overweight and in the worst shape of my life. Fed up, I grew determined to find a solution to these problems. Along the way, I learned what works and what doesn't, and this experience, coupled with the extensive knowledge I gained while studying to become an NASM-certified personal trainer, gives me a unique perspective on health and wellness that I believe sets me apart as a personal trainer. Although I've been a graduate student at OU for the last several years, I've lived in Oklahoma City for many of these years and have truly enjoyed witnessing the renaissance the city has undergone during this time. Oklahoma City is poised for great things, and I get the sense from the people I meet and form friendships with that promoting healthy lifestyles is a significant part of this renaissance. I believe that I can contribute to this cause signficantly by providing my expertise as an Oklahoma City personal trainer, and I hope you decide to make me your personal trainer today!
