Was responsible for getting new team member up-to-speed in this areaI assisted BSP bring-up on MSM8260 and MSM8926 phone products using prototype engineering boardsI provided software support for our Audio Team working with NXP and Dolby in kernel and framework layers by implementing new features and improving performanceI prototyped audio software features for proof-of-concept testing e.g. hands-free mic selection based on phone orientation and proximity sensors, and earpiece audio ramp based on proximity sensorI ported Android Lollipop software changes to Marshmallow for Vertu Android team:- by analysing Android L kernel changes and forward-porting them to M kernel- fixing bugs to boot Android M kernel with vanilla Marshmallow AOSP softwareI gave presentation to internal software development team on how to use Docker on Linux to perform Android software builds for long-term product supportI reviewed Android CVE software security patches for Vertu phones OTA update using Git, Gerrit and JenkinsI used Jira, Confluence, OpenGrok.
