• Administered the Financial Forecasting Model used by 80 clients. The model results are used by executive management for critical strategic decisions for one of the largest electric utility companies.
• Functioned as the main point of contact for technical support for the Financial Forecasting Model.
• Designed, developed, and implemented a process to compare Operations and Maintenance costs between the Financial Forecasting Model and the Budgeting System. Differences were transformed into a journal entry to adjust.
• Tested and implemented new versions of the Financial Forecasting Model.
• Worked with the vendor of the model to correct and enhance it.
• Developed and implemented interfaces from the General Ledger and Budgeting systems to the Financial Forecasting Model.

• Was instrumental in testing Business Objects reports used for variance reporting starting in 2006.
• Developed the Business Objects reports, Excel workbook, and Visual Basic macros to extract actual results to transfer to the Financial Forecasting Model. Saved 40 man-hours per month of accountants reentering financial.
• Performed Financial Analysis and periodic regulatory filings for Appalachian Power Company and Kingsport Power Companies (2000 – 2003).

• Developed and implemented an activity based management model for CSW to transform “overhead” costs into “controllable” costs. Developed programs to extract costs and operational volumes for assignment of shared service.
• Analyzed costing results and worked with clients to improve the processes and quality of results.
• Provided performance measurements and financial reports to several clients monthly. The work was highly regarded.
• Provided accounting and systems expertise to implement the business unit reporting system which computes business segment profitability for internal management and regulatory reporting. This system used Oracle stored.
• Supported the merger of Central and South West Corporation and American Electric Power Company by serving on the financials systems activity team and budgets team.
