His impressive client roster includes legendary and independent record labels and entertainers who have remained satisfied clients from Rick's earliest days in the business, a clear testament to his talent and dedication.Rick began his professional journey in 1987 as a recording engineer for Record Plant NYC, the landmark studio where the likes of Jimmie Hendrix, Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith, AC/DC, and John Lennon recorded some of their most memorable work. Rick's talents were quickly noticed by the studio, and by 1988, Rick was promoted to cutting engineer at the organization's self-owned mastering facility.He remained with Record Plant until 1990, when he was courted by the equally legendary Frankford/Wayne Mastering Labs, best known for its work with the pioneering and popular Philadelphia International Records. In short time, Rick became the outlet's principal engineer with a fast-growing list of leading talent and repeat clientele. In addition to his work for major labels and rock/pop "indies", Rick was and continues to be the engineer of choice for the majority of New York City's leading dance music labels.Rick continued at Frankford/Wayne for nine years developing his reputation for mastering excellence before moving to California for a stint at Precision Mastering. He returned home to New Jersey with his family in 2000 to enter into a joint venture with NYC's Master Cutting Room.
