Over 9 years as Product Line Systems Engineer, Risk Engineer and an Integrated Program Team Lead for L-3 Communications. I developed risk reduction strategies and was a team lead for antenna program development. I was the Program Lead for the Rover 5 RF Video Link product which was selected “L-3’s Product of the Year,” for 2009.

• I led a team of over 45 engineers and technicians. The team was spread out over five locations in three states and two countries. • Leader on the development of a Multi-Million Dollar Portable Medical Kidney Transporter. The project encompassed Electro-Mechanical, Injection Molded Plastics & Disposable Tubing Set Design.

• Designed top-selling telecommunications hardware equipment for laptop computers. These included PCMCIA and USB modems, Wired and Wireless LAN cards. Wireless products included 802.11 and BlueTooth standards. Performed the Analog / Digital Circuit Design, PCB layout. Designed for Cost, Manufacturability, Performance, Stability and EMI.• Designed the World’s Number One Selling PCMCIA laptop modems for several successive years. These designs accounted for nearly $1 Billion in hardware product sales.• Recognized as a valuable resource to solve circuit, component and layout technical design problems encountered by other engineers. Engineers at both the Salt Lake and Santa Clara divisions would request my help to get their designs to work or pass standards.• Managed and solved product technical and manufacturing problems.• Earned 3Com’s “Silver Inventor” award for patents received.
