I work with some of the smartest and most influential scientists in the area of particle physics for CLASSE (Cornell Laboratory for Accelerator-Based Sciences and Education). As a Science Communicator, I work with the scientists and engineers to tell the story of what is researched and created here at Cornell's particle accelerator laboratory.

Utilizing Adobe Creative Suite Software to create and design marketing collateral. Overseeing campaign activity, internal & external, e.g. collateral and content creation lifecycle including social media representation and PR, all staff internal communications and collaborating with other Tetra Tech groups in joint business efforts Creating and managing marketing plans and their execution.Acting as content curator and working closely, sometimes directing other staff for content creation, especially thought leadership (like POVs, articles) and sales enablement collateral (data sheets, brochures) Driving PR and social media strategy and promotion for Architectural/Engineering services.-PowerPoint, InDesign, Photoshop,& Illustrator are utilized extensively

-Collaborate with Creative Director on management of projects-Coordinate with photo art directors, copywriters and illustrators for color prints-Review, edit and release all layouts for nationwide campaigns (colors, bleeds, specs, format, etc)-Supply buyers with campaign layouts for their approval-Coordinate with buyers for copy and photo approval-Close teamwork with production, art, and online departments-Attend weekly meetings between production and art departments-Manage production schedule, detailing deadlines and production dates (Excel)-Preparation of production book, profiling all completed works-Inspect color proofs from printer and coordinate with Production Manager for changes

-Work with Executive Producer to schedule freelance artists/editors within strict schedules-Collaborate with Creative Director on management of each project, mainly budget & schedule-Oversee all departments (time, elements, progress) ensuring an on-time/on-budget delivery-Book editors and vendors while maintaining schedule and trafficking invoices-Storyboard and prepare productions for pitch to clients-Prepare elements for graphics/edits by resizing, cropping, correcting images in PhotoShop-Create production books for each job, containing all elements of production-Upload/download elements using our FTP site-Manage 2 Avid edit suites for technical support, trouble-shooting, and updates-Administer FTP site, adding users, folders, permissions, etc.
