Managed a team of Sysco resources (Architect, Developers and Administrator’s) as well as an offshore team of managed services resources. This team was responsible for systems management monitoring of Sysco’s production systems enterprise wide, as well as some critical test and development systems.• Using BMC suite of tools, maintained a complex monitoring infrastructure that includes installing, configuring, patching and upgrading the BMC toolset. • The suite of BMC products this team maintains includes BPPM (ProactiveNet), Patrol Central, BMC Event Manager (BEM), BMC Transaction Manager-Application Response Time (TM-ART), BEM to Remedy integration, BMC Portal, Remedy v6 (Asset), Remedy v7 (Change, Incident and KB), Remedy-on-Demand v8.1. • Team maintains 1000+ BMC Performance Manager (Patrol) agents on AIX, AS/400, Linux and Windows platforms. • Team maintains 30+ custom BMC Knowledge Modules (KM’s) to support business/application specific requirements.• Supervised the administrators for the enterprise Remedy infrastructure.• As owner of Release Management for Legacy systems, managed the administrators for code deployment of the Sysco Warehouse Management System (SWMS).• Taking advantage of ITIL/ITSM knowledge, lead the team in creating a bi-directional integration between BEM console and Remedy so that alarm events could automatically trigger populated incidents and incidents could automatically be assigned to proper support teams.• As a team, implemented a custom integration to convert SAP Solution Manager CCMS, StreamServe and Redwood alerts into Patrol events, so that Remedy incidents could be created. • Supported and participated in Change Management process.ITIL v3 Foundation certified

Responsibilities included all aspects of project management to include creating, tracking and maintaining project plans; Creating and maintaining project documentation per project delivery process; Managing members of the project team to ensure timelines through the project cycle; Reporting progress/status to project stakeholders; Managing various vendor and consultant relationships throughout assigned projects.• Managed the on time installation of WAN/LAN communications, IBM AS/400’s, IBM RS/6000’s, multiple Intel Servers and RF environment at four new SYSCO warehouse facilities in North America. • Managed a conversion project connecting eighteen remote SERCA Food Services locations across Canada to the SYSCO corporate network infrastructure, via Sprint DS1/DS3 circuits, due to the acquisition of SERCA, Canada. • Successfully deployed an applications development project targeted to streamline warehouse operations by converting the systems from a custom DOS application to Windows CE.Net based RF terminals.• Successfully managed a complex project to replace the IBM RS/6000 servers, upgrade the O/S, Oracle, the custom warehouse management application and the RF infrastructure at all sixty-eight SYSCO Operating Companies.
