Rick was the Chief Architect behind the development of InVisM’s award winning RealityV® training and simulation platform, winner of Military Electronics’ “Best Video Technology of the Year” in 2008, two Davie Awards for video design and the Stevie Awards from the American Business Association for “Best Business Training Product” in 2009. RealityV®, currently used as the interactive platform for the ARMY360 Cultural series, enables the complex delivery of 360º video, cognitive branching and performance assessment and evaluation. His efforts with the US Army have also included the integration of Army360 onto the iPhone/iPod/iPad to support the Army’s “Connecting Soldiers to Digital Applications” initiative. His most recent efforts have focused on the unique capabilities of RealityV® to support the revitalization of clients existing content, cost effectively upgrading Level 1 (passive) Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) to Level 2/3 (interactive).As lead of the ARMY360 – Immersive Cultural Simulation product, Rick led the interactive design and video production efforts overseeing nearly every element of the product lifecycle. He was also the developer and program manager of the Basic Combat Training (BCT) “What is Culture?” application, and the Hybrid Film/Virtual Reality Weapons Intelligence Training (WIT) application “WIT Force.” He has continued to evolve these product lines with the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps. InVisM’s products were estimated to train an estimated 1 million personnel in 2011.
