• Delivered a presentation to over 250 colleagues on my visit to The Legacy Museum in Montgomery, Alabama, exploring the historical impacts of slavery and its connection to contemporary mass incarceration.• Led the organization of the Immigrant and Refugee Community Resource Fair Day by partnering with 24 nonprofit service providers to offer vital resources to immigrants and refugees in Baltimore City.• Directed a delegation of four volunteers and supporters at the 2023 World Refugee Day on Capitol Hill, facilitating discussions with elected officials and their staff to advocate for improved immigration policies.• Managed the UAC ORR Portal to accurately record, catalog, and maintain refugee information in the national database, aiding the family reunification process for unaccompanied minors.• Coordinated onboarding and conducted New Hire Training for two newly hired employees, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and a comprehensive understanding of their roles.• Elected by colleagues to represent over 180 staff members on the Staff Wellness Advocacy Group, serving as a liaison to HR and Executive Leadership.• Developed new policies and regulations for unaccompanied children based on comprehensive data analysis and feedback from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration with all 38 partner organizations.

• Developed and organized a comprehensive database identifying foundations’ priorities and strategies to improve technology literacy throughout low-income communities to assist with the implementation of the Biden-Harris Administration Advancing Educational Equity.• Conducted a 40-page qualitative and quantitative research analysis of major philanthropic foundations to identify early childhood education trends and priorities to advocate administrative policies agenda.• Authored policy briefs and presented final report to three executive committees and an external federal agency, resulting in adoption and citation in a subsequently published national science foundation report.

• Performed initial bill language assessment to begin the research process during legislative sessions and drafted bill language for submission to the legislature • Collaborated closely with consultant organizations to identify successful reentry programs to streamline employment opportunities• Planned and organized panel discussions for Judge Williams to moderate community meetings with local leaders to discuss issues on criminal justice reforms and advocate for Ban the Box on employment application• Oversaw project implementations, data collection, and creation of deliverables on mass incarceration for lectures and seminars in close collaboration with the University of Maryland, African American Studies Department

• Developed strategic partnerships that led to the relocation of more than 10 artists to the City of Hyattsville as part of the City’s Art District Revitalization Project.• Organized monthly community meetings with elected officials and coalitions to discuss proposals for revitalizing the West Hyattsville Metro Station through a mural painting

• Prepared memos and reports on criminal activities to be updated into the National Gang Center database by researching past investigations, transactions, and activities related to the Black Guerrilla Gang for evidence to be used for upcoming trials.• Coordinated and organized 2 community meetings with local leaders to meet and discuss with the District Attorney criminal justice reforms including Ban the Box and reentry employer-sponsored programs.

• Supervised and coordinated leadership trainings for 50 high school students during the Summer Serve outreach program to teach about community services • Assisted more than 100 low-income families file taxes through the Financial Literacy Coalition Program with Frederick County.
