Worked with three individuals to start another company with an established PC board manufacturer to provide the highest quality DVR, camera and GPS equipment and applications. Direct involvement with the design of both hardware and software. Company continues to grow with a current installed based in excess of 100K systems. Responsible for all aspects of customer support including call center, maintenance, enhancement releases and new products.

Helped create a start-up business to bring mobile digital video products to the school bus industry. Branded the name BusVision and helped grow the business from nothing in 2001 to a revenue stream in excess of $3 million in 2004. Responsibilities include systems design with established manufacturers to adapt existing products to meet the needs of the school bus industry, including digital video recorders, cameras and software applications. Maintained an installed base of over 3,000 systems across the country. Other responsibilities included customer pre and post sales support, training, installation and the ongoing maintenance of the installed customer base.

With the Inacom aquisition of Vanstar I managed a business analysis and development staff of twenty with budget responsibilities in excess of $4 million. Implemented EDI 142 type transactions with Compaq, SONY, GE, Chevron and HP. Completed customized service billing system with links to Oracle AP, Oracle AR, commisions and GL packages. Responsible for the integration of Inacom and Vanstar service systems. Projects included data migration, JIT allocation inventory process, field service technician automated dispatch process using pagers, RF enabled laptops, IVR workorder update mechanism and E-Commerce application with UPS for tracking shipments.

As the NOVA project ended, role evolved into an IT management position with responsibity for the service delivery aspect of the business. Brought a great level of field experience from the service delivery side to the IT support of these functions.

Re-engineering project with Ernst & Young involvement, responsible for the service delivery / dispatch portion of requirements gathering. Experience with EDI, IVR and RF technologies using an AS400 with DB2 back-end and PowerBuilder 6.5 user applications. Custome development of call center, inventory application and RF application used by field service technicians with an Itronix ruggedized laptop. Facilitated design sessions to capture business requirements, scope of work documentation, project plans, change management processes and risk mitigation plans. Presented to CEO, CIO and Sr. Management Committee at quarterly reviews.

Promoted and relocated to Atlanta, GA in January '94. P&L responsibilities for fourteen branch service offices with annual service revenue in excess of $16 million. Implemented system and business processes to streamline inventory management, service dispatch and exceed customer service response and repair level agreements.

NYNEX Business Centers acquired by Computerland, P&L responsibilities for five Upsate NY service centers. Managed project to merge TRW service locations into Computerland systems and processes. Implemented service contract offerings, conducted service presentations and increased service revenue while maintaining costs. Won many service awards because of the profitability of the Upsate NY service centers.

Promoted to Area Service Manager, maintained management position in Syracuse, but picked up additional responsibilities for four more service centers in Albany, Rochester, Buffalo and Binghamton.

Managed staff of ten computer service technicians. Implemented processes to increase technician efficiencies, grow installed customer contract base and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Supported customer base providing onsite warranty and out of warranty repairs on PC equipment including Apple, IBM, Compaq, HP, Epson and others. Provided the highest level of customer satisfaction and promoted to a senior level technician with-in two years.
