Using a broad range of skills including strategic planning, information architecture, usability, writing, editing, photography, video, HTML, CSS and web content management systems (CMS). Served as president 2015-2016.Friends of the Columbia Gorge Land Trust was created in 2005 to protect and enhance critical landscapes through acquisition and stewardship. Since its inception, the land trust has purchased or received through donations 15 properties totaling over 830 acres in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. With emphases to protect scenic and natural resources, as well as to promote recreation opportunities such as trail links, the land trust works with landowners to protect and preserve the Gorge's natural beauty.

I have served as board chair, vice chair, and Treasurer/chair of the finance committee.

We Can Do Better is a nonpartisan space for civic engagement for people to develop strategies and solutions that inform public policy and result in better health and health care for all.Founded in 2006 by former (and current) Oregon governor John Kitzhaber, MD, The Archimedes Movement grew to 7000 members. We Can Do Better engages citizens in identifying barriers and solutions to improving health and health care for all. We combine traditional tools – community forums and workshops – with new media to bring people together.Each day more Americans are at risk of losing their access to health care. This challenge requires an American solution that invests in our health and guarantees all families affordable, quality health care. The Archimedes Movement is creating the momentum for this fundamental change. We can do better!

I was involved in all phases of marketing for this high-tech startup in the education space, including CRM database development, trade shows and conferences, website development and management, and writing copy for brochures and the Web.

Designed, built and maintained this non-profit, public, education and government cable access TV studio, including editing suites, mobile equipment and cable broadcast control center. Part of the management team as the organization moved into a new facility and grew from 6 to 26 employees. Developed the capital equipment budget. See www.metroeast.org for more info.
