I am a post graduate professional with overall 10 years of experience working with Urban Design firm, Architectural firms and with developers working in Australia, India, and the USA. I post graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), GA, USA with degree in Master of Architecture specializing in Urban Design Studies and also a register architect in India. After coming to Australia in 2014, I was fortunate enough to worked with well-known developers of Australia such as Mirvac Design and Frasers Property Australia. Initially, I was involved in the documentation phase of the project, but then I showed my designing skills and involved into the front end of the project, which included master planning of the superlots, feasibility study of potential sites, streetscape designs, DA preparation, and marketing drawings. I was responsible for all the concept level services coordination with external consultants, following up with consultants, and organizing design sign off’s presentations with general managers & other division heads. In the initial years at Frasers and Mirvac, I worked extensively on documentation of triplexes, duplexes, and stand-alone houses. In that period I learned about various building codes, Australian standards, various detailing, buildability, construction & its sequencing aspects of a projects. In India, I was associated with HCP Design, Planning and Management Pvt Ltd (HCPDPM) as an architect/urban designer. First year of my association with company gave me an opportunity to work on one of the 100 innovative projects in the world, named Sabarmati River Front Development (SRFD) Project. I worked majorly on Laundry Campus development, Riverfront Market, Lower Promenade Toilets, Ticketing Kiosks for the Boating facilities. Then next year, I was assigned to work on a prestigious institutional project for our company named, Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar (IITGN). My duties involves coordination within the office and with consultants, managing task and assigning work force in efficient manner, taking decisions, organizing presentations internally as well as to clients. During my stay at United States, I participated in an International design competition – Newark Visitor Center, in which nearly 200 participants from 31 countries participated. As a post graduate student at SCAD, I prepared a design solution focused on the “Public Open Spaces of Waterfront Development in Charleston, South Carolina”, USA. I have also produced 100 pages of Research paper during my undergraduate studies of architecture.
