Current•Provided programmatic support for $20M Defense Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (DEPSCoR) for Capacity Building and Research Collaboration, including development of Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs), correspondence with applicants, data collection and analysis on program impact, budget evaluations, and developing press release documents. •Organized an outreach event at the University of Oklahoma to promote DoD basic research opportunities to over 140 academic researchers. •Provided program oversight and coordination for $220M Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative (MURI), including evaluating scientific topics to be included in FOAs, corresponding with awardees and planning annual program reviews. •Developed talking points, presentation slides, Congressional briefings, reports, memoranda, and other documentation for DoD leadership. •Provided programmatic support to the DoD Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program including correspondence with awardees and tracking of awardees’ progress.•Maintained broad situational awareness of Research and Development efforts involving basic research.
