Topic: Online Personalisation of Human-Prosthetic Interfaces - Developed a learning algorithm for upper-limb prostheses. The algorithm learns from its user and adjusts the motion of the prosthesis to achieve natural human-prosthesis coordination. - Developed a Virtual Reality platform in Unity/C\# and the SteamVR API for training and evaluating upper-limb prosthesis users.- Leading the clinical translation and commercialisation of my prosthetics Virtual Reality platform in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team as part of the Translating Research at Melbourne (TRaM) program. - Designed the experimental methodology to test the algorithms I developed in human trials involving testing human motor behaviour. Wrote the ethics applications and obtained approval for these trials.- Key member of a multidisciplinary team (mechanical and electrical engineering, and medicine).

Developed a measurement system for evaluating human motor behaviour in Virtual Reality and to provide quantitative measures of motor performance.

Lecturing and managing the control systems subject for final year bachelor of engineering students.

- Led the organisation of events and activities to improve the well-being of research students in the Mechanical Engineering department. - Started and led a study group for Ph.D. students which focuses on Machine Learning (ML). - Led the organisation and running of a "writing retreat" for students in the process of writing their thesis or research publications.

- Liaised with the academic faculty on behalf of research students in matters concerning the current and future conditions for research students. - Helped the students of a research group to maintain their office arrangement, which would have otherwise meant the group would split. I achieved this by talking to students in the group, understanding their needs, and by helping department leaders understand the team dynamics of the research group and that separating the team would impact their performance. - Liaised with the academic faculty on behalf students affected by the COVID-19 travel ban and restrictions so their Ph.D. candidature is not impacted.

Led the Command and Data Handling team for the Melbourne Space Program (March 2015 – February 2017), a team comprised of seven masters and undergraduate students. We defined the initial requirements of the satellite command system and selected its core components.

- Programmed and commissioned Fanuc and KUKA robots for Audi Hungary’s A3/TT body-shop line, and ABB robots for Ford Otosan Turkey’s Transit body-shop line.- Worked in multinational teams across Europe, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and adaptability.

- Programmed the laboratory’s Interactive Manufacturing Cell using Siemens Step 7 LAD, SCL, and SCS.- Programmed and commissioned ABB and Fanuc robots for the automation laboratory.- Taught and tutored Industrial Networks, Industrial Automation and Manufacturing Systems Integration workshops, demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills.- Developed the workshop teaching material for Industrial Networks, Industrial Automation and Manufacturing Systems Integration workshops.- Led the RoboCup team, comprised of four undergraduate students, during the beginning of the project.

- Performed data analytics for the US & Canada Customs department of Hewlett Packard Mexico to evaluate business performance and presented the results to internal customers in the US.- Developed an Excel/Access/VBA database which automated data acquisition and reporting.

- Led final year undergraduate student projects and advised engineering students. Demonstrating excellent leadership and communication skills.- Developed a C++/Linux software for robotic manipulators positioning and behaviour, focused on robotics education. Implemented a genetic algorithm to solve inverse kinematics. - Developed controllers, software, and interfaces for robotic manipulators and haptic devices.- Designed and implemented servo motor drives for robotic manipulators.
