I am motivated to make a difference in this world. If it is through technology and security or just doing good for the people I may encounter through life. I've had few teachers or mentors through my life. I had a very unique upbringing, resulting in an ability to offer many unique perspectives and views to any team. I'm self-taught, mostly by learning through lab, onsite experience and research. As a child in the 80's and 90's, my only real interest in life had been technology. I would typically find or be given very outdated or (electrically) broken hardware. I would repair it and then out of pure curiosity, ride my bicycle to the local library to research how to get it to work on the software side, as well as learn about what the device could do.With that background I had taught myself many business systems and applications. At one point as a young teen I put up a BBS that was being hosted via ham radio link. The BBS ran from a 386SX that had BSDi (BSD/OS) installed on it.Still to this day I host an extensive lab environment where I continually learn new skills by actively hosting, maintaining and expanding.This is only a small piece of my background but I feel the unique path that has gotten me to where I am today gives me very unique abilities to operate soundly no matter the situation and with minimal direction.
